It is no longer a dream to see how our communities, nations and the entire world under siege, everywhere is on a standstill, fear has taken its toll, our homes are no longer safe, our communities are nothing to write home about. More to it, our roads have been taken over, consistent ambush awaits us daily, security systems have been defeated, in-fact, both the infant, young and old are on the run looking for safety, who will help us? to whom should we run to? going further to talk about economy, everything is deteriorating, the rich are becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer, hunger and food scarcity everywhere as even our farmlands are no longer safe to plow, Things are just becoming tough, the entire world is worried and clamouring for safety more especially the believers, it is seemingly proven that no where is safe and if no where is safe, that is a viable proof that there is a place that is safe. The question is; where is this place?

A question that many keep asking is; why are these things happening? it is happening because that is what the bible says, perilous time shall come - (2Tim 3:1). When is this thing coming to an end? A good answer to this is "No Time," the world will keep being under siege. When is our nation, state, local governments and the entire world going to get better? I guess my answer will shock you, but please permit me to say it: It will never get better. Where is God as we face persecution daily? He is in the same place where he was watching when his son Jesus was crucified on the cross. Believers! persecution is on the increase, yes, because we are not of the world (John 17:14-16): Many are hurt, killed and many are disarmed - amidst this chaos, many believe that God is punishing us for our sins, NO! think of this, is God that wicked enough to punish whom he loves? the Bible says He is Love, His forbearance leads us to repentance - (Rom 2:4). Many also attribute the blames to their current administration as there is still hope when a new government emerges. This is funny to me; can a man solve the decadence of the world? give it a thought. I see, the attention of many has shifted from God to man, the bible says:

This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord" - (Jere 17:5)

Different worldview all in search for a solution and safety. Challenges and difficulties are character building opportunities, they have the potential to unveil the Glory of God in our lives. this is not the time to go weary nor draw back. for we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. (Hebrews 10:39, Prov. 24:10). I read about how the early church Apostles were threatened, all they could do is to pray and this is the most amazing part of the story; they only prayed for boldness. I was expecting, because of the rigorous effects of the threat, they will ask God to vindicate them or take the threat away but all they I’d ask for was 'boldness'. And now, oh Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants the grace to continue to speak your word with all boldness, (Acts 4:29). We just need strength. (Isaiah 40:28-31).

I was intentional not to answer the question "where is the place?" in the first paragraph so as to take you through the long epistle of where we are and what we are facing daily. indeed, it is a tough and rough moment.it is important to have a good reminder of this before answering the question. Beloved, the most and the only safe place is in JESUS. He is our dwelling place. In Him We Live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). In him is our hope and our eternal safety. Even if we died, we are dying in him because we have this hope of this eternal inheritance of living with him. forget the persecution and keep looking on the cross daily, the foundation of our safety. don't be distracted by the killing, hunger, persecution but focus on the cross. This is the conclusion of the matter: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, for your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:36

Stay encouraged, we are more than conquerors in Jesus. All the world needs is Jesus.
